About Us

Founded in 1987 by Custom Honing President Stephen Keller, Custom Honing offers over 175 years of combined honing expertise. Our 23,000 square foot facility is located minutes away from the Indiana toll road just off the US 31 bypass. 

President Stephen Keller

Steve has been in the honing business for 51 years. As the founder and President of Custom Honing, Steve has overseen honing projects for everything from TVs to RVs to parts for Hollywood movie productions. 

Office Manager Lynda Tompkins

Lynda has been with Custom Honing for 27 years. As the office manager, she keeps all the wheels turning in the right direction. If you've got questions, she's got answers - or knows who does.
